The microwave runs shockingly quiet (almost not sure it's on) yet cooks food as well as the one it replaced. Even the fan is half as loud and just as powerful as the old one and the over-range light is far and away brighter than the old one. We've only had it for a few weeks, but we're pleased. If we get the 13 years we got out of our Kenmore, we'll be thoroughly impressed.

I have a 2.5-year-old over-the-range microwave that stopped heating over three months ago. It came with my brand-new home that I purchased in 2021. I called to see about my repair or replacement options and ended up having to purchase the extended warranty months ago. They made me wait 60 days to set up a service order. The technician came out and after two minutes said he would have to order a part and scheduled to come back a week later. On the day he was due to return, I received a text, not a call, stating I needed to call to reschedule because the parts did not come in. I called only to be told that they were waiting for two more parts, which would not be available until sometime in July. Keep in mind, it was May at the time. I said I am not accepting that and asked to speak to a supervisor and demanded a replacement since I had no working microwave at all. Jessa, the supervisor, said she would submit for a replacement on May 28th and call me back that week with an update. There was no call, no update. Then, on June 3rd, I called back and spoke to another supervisor named Lorena. Same speech, no update, no call back. I called back on June 10th and was told both replacement claims had been denied and I needed to wait 60 more days. I will not wait. If anyone knows the corporate number to reach the VP or president, please share. This is beyond ridiculous. You can't and will not treat me or anyone this way. This replaced an older bisque colored Frigidaire microwave. The space for the oven was limited so by replacing with the same brand it actually fit in the old space beautifully. This is our third Frigidaire microwave over a span of 20+ years. I like the Frigidaire brand. I like the one touch button for one, two or three minutes and the 30 second + button. Also the reheat feature is great. This one is stainless steel and is quite an upgrade for us. Looks beautiful and works great so far.

It is a simple model with the basic functions. The only thing I am not happy with are the "preset" options like defrost and soften/melt. I have gotten used to the convenience of these on other models/brands, and this particular model does not compare. There are limited options for those preset, and they seem to be too strong (cooking the food rather than performing the function as intended).

Our old Frigidaire range microwave stopped working a few weeks ago so we replaced it with this. I like the look and features of the new model. The buttons are more user friendly and the led light is much brighter. It was also very easy to install- we didn™™t have to replace the brackets and it still matches the Frigidaire stove which I was worried about. So far this has been working great and I™™d recommend it!

Door Handle Broke Off in 8 Months, Not Covered Under Warranty

This microwave works, and I like the zero clearance closure. However, the door handle pulled away from where it connects on the top within 8 months. Apparently the 1 year manufacturer's warranty does not cover "cosmetic" parts. The flimsy plastic connector is obviously defective, but now I need replace the handle out of my own pocket. The only part I found is $150, which is half the cost of the microwave itself. I will not be purchasing Frigidaire products moving forward given these build quality issues and with how limited the warranty actually is.

While the unit operates effectively in terms of size and capacity, there appears to be an issue with the fan. Unfortunately, it only operates on the high setting, which results in a consistently loud noise level, resembling a full-throttle storm. Regrettably, There is indeed a low setting, but unfortunately, it doesn't function as expected. I made multiple attempts to reach out to customer service, enduring a lengthy wait time of an hour and a half on hold without receiving any assistance or useful suggestions. Regrettably, I eventually decided to discontinue my efforts. I contacted the home builder who to me that it was just how this model works, However, this information is inaccurate, as they have successfully installed the same model in my neighborhood that are functioning correctly. This microwave looks and works great and is large inside. I really like that it has +10 and +30 second buttons which I use dozens of times a day. You can also turn off ALL the beeping so the unit is absolutely quite except low hum when working! I have put this microwave into two different houses.
