pros: - feature rich: more options than any washer we've had - cleans well: even quick wash + mid water level + light soil - soft-close lid: just like on our toilet! - spins: it hasn't unbalanced once even with huge towel loads, and makes clothes dryer than ever cons: - leveling: see pages 24-25 in manual before doing anything. - auto water level seems to use way too much water, making cycles really long. fortunately, you can change a setting and see how much it adds/subtracts from the cycle time. - height: no floor model was available to see if my wife would fall in reaching for thing at the tub bottom. it is 2+ inches taller than our old unit, which has required adjustments like moving laundry supplies away from behind the unit to where we both can easily reach them.

love my new Samsung 7.2-cu ft Electric Dryer. It has a great control panel with lots of drying options. It offers 8 preset drying cycles and 4 temperature levels to suit your laundry needs. The control panel is easy to read and has LED indicator lights. My favorite is the Sensor Dry! This is helps me not over dry my delicate work clothes. It has a huge drying tub (7,2 cu) so my sheets and blankets and loads of jeans and towels fit and dry very well. I do not have to run the dry cycle more than once. Another feature I like is the lint filter indicator light letting me know when it is full and reminding me to empty. It plays a wonderful tune medley when the dryer is finished which is so much better than an annoying buzzer.

Great washing machine!

This washing machine works extremely well and looks nice. The top is clear glass and the deep barrel is quite large. It has every setting you can imagine and I love that as you choose which setting, it changes the timer so that you know exactly how long the load will take to wash. To add detergent, there is a convenient pull out tray that shows you exactly how much liquid to put in and also has a space for liquid fabric softener. Once you start the washer, the lid locks and if you need to pause for whatever reason, there is a convenient button for that. It is very quiet when washing and I can barely notice when it is on. After the load is done being washed, a jingle will play to notify you that it is complete. My clothes are washed perfectly and the washer itself holds a very large amount of laundry. After a few times of use, the washer will also conveniently notify you to do a washer cleaning cycle with a simple press of a button. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product.

I really like this washer. The large capacity is great for doing loads of towels and heavier clothes. The drawer for putting in laundry soap and liquid softener is very convenient to use. If you really want to update your laundry room and your life this new wash machine will not disappoint. I have been using this wash machine for several months now and I have to say it's a huge upgrade from my previous machine of 20 yrs, things have certainly changed. First of all, it's beautiful and has a huge capacity so you can wash blankets and bedspreads. It is very simple and straightforward to use and has several cycles and water temperatures to pick from. The washer runs very quiet and cleans very well, it even has a cute little jingle at the end when its finished. Would highly recommend this wash machine and would love to buy a Samsung dryer to go with it.

My old washer really needed an upgrade and I am so glad we got this Samsung washer to replace it. It is bigger and quieter than my old machine and it looks really nice! It easily fits my king size bedding or other large loads. Only issue I had with it was the long chime at the end, but I was able to turn that off. So definitely 5 stars!

Dirty Clothes Don't Stand a Chance

I am super happy with our top loading Samsung washing machine. The tub is deep and allows for more clothes to be washed per cycle than our last machine, speeding up the laundry process The variety of settings is more than we have ever had, especially the automatic function that detects the appropriate water level. When I do laundry, I usually use the normal or quick wash setting for both colors and whites and it works like a charm. The self cleaning option is a plus, it notifies us when the machine needs to complete a self cleaning cycle that doesn't require any additional cleaning products. The new vibration reduction technology works as promised. Not once have I heard the machine rubbling or dancing around the laundry room because of an of an unbalanced load. Unlike our previous front loading machine, clothes come out clean and smelling fresh. No mildewy smell or residue. We are big fans of Samsung televisions and are happy with this Samsung appliance!

Easy to use. I love that i don't always have to check on my machine to find out when it finish washing my clothes. It provides a timer. It doesn't make any noise. It holds more clothing than my other washing i had before. Does quick wash for smaller clothes and also i have an option to deep clean my washer. It also doesn't shake very loud when its spinning. It washed my clothes really great and i have areas to place my detergent and softner instead of having to put it all in one area. Also lets me know how much i would save using this product.

I absolutely love this washing machine! I have never had a washing machine that was as quiet as this one. Even during the spin cycle, I don't hear any noise or vibrations. The barrel inside is extremely large and can handle a large load of laundry with ease. The settings are endless and the quickest mode takes about 35 minutes. After a few loads of laundry, the self clean mode illuminates to remind you to clean it and it is as simple as pushing a button to start. There is a timer countdown for each load of laundry and it sings a little jingle after the laundry is done. Inside the washing machine is a drawer that slides out that holds your softener and detergent, making it super easy to dispense. My clothes come out extra clean and smell amazing. Overall I am in love with this washing machine and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new washer.

Efficient and Quiet

This washing machine is amazing. It replaced our 15 year old machine. It was like going into the future. It is nice and quiet. It uses less water than our previous washer. It has a view window (which the kids love). It can determine the amount inside which makes it more efficient. A very nice machine. I have used the many different cycles from heavy to light to spin and rinse. All of them are great!. The washing machine holds two full laundry baskets, it is really massive. When thinking about my old washer, I can not believe we used such a model. This is far superior in capacity, sound, cleaning , and water usage. By far the best feature is that it can sense how large of a load is in the machine. I use it every single time. It makes washing clothes easier. It is nice to see through the top to see how things are going as well.

Broken after just 4 months

my experience with this washing machine and the samsung customer service has been terrible. it took 3 weeks longer than i was told to receive the washing machine. after 4 months, the machine will not finish the rinse/spin cycle. the tech came out today and diagnosed a broken actuator and clutch. he said that the motor in these machines is not big enough. i have yet to get someone in customer service who is willing to help me. i just want my money back so that i can get a new washing machine. i have been washing my laundry by hand for almost 3 weeks now - and i have 4 young children. furthermore, my husband works in a federal prison so i need to do frequent laundry to decrease our risk of illness and infection. i would never buy another product from samsung.

Samsung 4.4 cu. ft top load washer with active wave agitator really cleans your clothes. The only thing that was funny was that my wife is short and she can't reach all the way in to get the clothes that are washed, she has to use a stool. We love this washer, it chimes when done washing. Has many options on it and self cleans when put on the proper cycle. It lets you know when it's recommended to do a clean. So be sure you have a hot water hook up, cause it will not work for those who don't ,to only do the cleaning cycle. It holds a large amount of clothes , so we are able to get our laundry done quicker. The count down timer is awesome, cause I can plan to do something and come back in time to put it in the dryer when done.

Super quiet washer that could!!!

Wow I am SO impressed with this not so little washer that could! It has a great large capacity, very straightforward buttons and options, and is soooo quiet. Our old washer was probably on its last leg and that washer was so noisy especially when even just a little bit off balance. I LOVE that this washer self balances and adjusts for any weight imbalance automatically so you never have to worry about all that loud shaking and rattling that could wake up the whole neighborhood. And what's even better is this washer uses so little water, but even on our most used normal cycle with warm water and medium soiled setting, all the clothes come out clean clean clean. I also do love that there are so many different wash cycle options as well as the auto water sensing level option so I can conserve more water.. Seriously one of my best purchases this year so far and I couldn't be happier!

Great washing machine

We have a house hold of five so we are always washing clothes. This washing machine was nice and big. I was able to wash three of my son's pillows with no issues at all. I really liked how silent it sounds when it's running also. This washing machine has many features to choose from. It's extremely easy to figure out how to use as well. Its basically self explanatory. The music that it makes when it's done is cute as well nothing annoying that wakes that baby. I've used this washer well over twenty times and haven't had any issues with it at all. My clothes actually come out cleaner then they did in my old washing machine from having a lot more room inside the washing machine and the agitator is excellent as well. I love that it levels it self out easier also. I use to have to non stop adjust clothes or do smaller loads with my old washing machine. The only option I would of liked but wasn't a must was to be able to play different music when it goes off. It would off been cool to have each child have their own sound buts not a must. In the future I would like to see black as a option as well instead of only white. Over all I'm extremely happy with my Samsung washing machine and definitely would suggest it to others as well.

It really cleans clothes efficiently . We use it nearly everyday and it's so easy to use. We are so happy with the results from using this washing machine. Our old machine was giving us issues with oil stains and also the fur from our pets was not removed by using previous machine. We no longer have those issues with this machine. We are so impressed. We love the settings and ease of use. Even our older parents figured out how to use the machine even though it was not a dial control option like our previous machine. We look forward to hearing the song at the end of each load. Additionally, we love that the lid locks which is very child safe. We would definitely recommend to all our friends and family members and are considering purchasing a Samsung dryer soon.

It works well is very quiet. It is a bit deep if you are a shorter person due to having to bend a bit difficult when removing clothes from washer. The end of cycle chime is very pleasant. I was impressed with the amount of clothing it washes at one time. I was able to place 3 blankets easily. It has a special setting for bedding. I used to own a front load washer , so I was Leary about purchasing this top loader. I like that you can fit large loads at one time, really like the self clean feature, as it prevents any kind of mold or mildew build up like my previous washer made. I also like the self calibration capability, as it will ensure proper weighing of each load consistently. I just love having an up to date washer that does an amazing job in getting my clothes clean. Thumbs up to Samsung for an amazing product.

I will start off by saying this is a very nice washer with nice features! I was skeptical about buying a Samsung washer especially a top load but I am glad I did it definitely have saved me on my water bill and also has saved my clothes keeping them nice instead of tearing them up like my last washer . I really like the quick wash it's all I usually use but i have tried the other options and they work great it's not to loud it does have a little vibration when spinning out but what washer doesn't atleast I haven't found one. The only thing bad so far is if u wash a big blanket that soaks up water easily it will Throw it off track so I learned put it on auto when you wash big blankets. Other then that it is a great washer . Samsung definitely upped there game on this one .

I am in love with my new washer, have never had one of this in the past. Is a good washer that I would highly recommend to all my family and friends. Leaves your clothes very clean and is amazing. The ActiveWave agitator and vibration is amazing since you can't hear the sound on the machine. Is not loud as the one I used to have. I have tried all the different settings but I love the deep wash and delicate as I have kids. I can fit more clothes than before. Would definitely like to try for a Samsung dryer.

Fantastic Washer!

I am so happy with this washer. I really wanted to go back to a top load, just for personal preference and this ended up being the perfect one for my family. It is nice and big and fits very large loads which makes me quite happy. It cleans very well and our clothes smell fresh. There are plenty of different settings to use based on your load / preference. I love the glass top also. Not only does it allow you to see inside, but it also adds a touch of elegance to the look Lastly, the detergent/softener dispensers are conveniently located at the back of the top of the inside. Overall, great purchase and I would highly recommend.

Absolutely Love This Washer

My washer went on quite a long journey to reach me and let me tell you, it was worth the wait! I absolutely love this washer! I've had good washers in the past, but this by far is the best. The settings are on another level. The washer makes noises like some futuristic type spacecraft. It is a beautifully made product. I only wish I could've campaigned for the dryer only due to the aesthetics. The spin cycle on this washer is so good that it cuts the drying time down to less than half the time. I am definitely recommending this to my friends, family, and even strangers. The only cons that I can find is that wash times range from 40 minutes to over an hour. The washing cycle isn't as quiet as I expected. It's still extremely quiet compared to my last washer. So overall not any complaints from me, just praises. I would also like to include that my deliverers were very pleasant and set everything up perfectly.

I'm loving my new Samsung Washer! It is so nice. It is a large capacity washer. My old washer was loud, and shook when it was on the spin cycle. This washer is so quiet compared to that old one. It has Vibration Reduction Technology+ and ActiveWave Agitator that helps reduce noise and vibration, which is wonderful. It has a see through top also. It cleaned all my clothes nicely, and even played a tune when it was finished washing. It had several different settings to pick from for different size loads, and more delicate loads too. I as m really impressed. I recommend this Samsung Washer.

I love love love this washing machine it's quiet easy to navigate it's huge fits perfectly In my space it's not loud at all easy to use the door is soft closing.. The price made it even better I can't wait to purchase the dryer also I recommend for everyone to get a Samsung appliance it's worth every penny the inside is very spacious.. I love the fact that it has 8 different settings my favorite is Deep Wash I have a née born and keeping her clothes clean is my first priority and I also love Bedding/Waterproof I have a lot of sheets and comforters that can always use deep cleaning Compared to other brands I've used in the past they don't compare Samsung has really put a lot of effort and work into these products..I love that when I'm washing clothes I don't hear anything coming from my washer it's silent the door doesn't make a sound when it's being closed and it Self cleans you can't beat that at all I guarantee your old washer would never give you these options the fact that I can look through the window and see what's going on inside is BANANAS I'm most definitely sharing my experience and happiness to my friends and family I Love my new Samsung Washing Machine

Love our Samsung Top Load Washer

I'm excited to share our experience with the Samsung Model WA44A3205AW 4.4 cu. ft. Top Load Washer with ActiveWave™ Agitator and Soft-Close Lid . We knew that this Samsung washer would be a huge improvement over our twenty year old GE Washer, but we we're blow-away, er, I mean washed away! The washer has a huge, 4.4 cu ft capacity, packed with the latest technology, simple to operate and allows washing every type of fabric safely, at any temperature and while saving water Doing our first wash was easy, as I actually read the owners manual! We packed in bedding from two king size beds, filled the soap dispenser and set the water to the auto fill level. As we starred at the washer filling up and like magic the washer filled to the perfect level for the wash. In an hour, we heard a musical tune coming from the laundry room and it was the washer signalling that our load was done. When we pulled out the bedding, we found that the bedding wasn't all twisted into a huge ball,. as this washer uses a different method than the conventional style washer. Getting these clothes washed this way, saved untwisting the wet mess of clothes and made for faster drying times. We've done four loads of clothes in the week that we've had the washer and there's so many things we love about it. It's so quiet, uses less water, doesn't twist clothing into a big ball and is a total pleasure to use. We'll continue to give updates on the washer as time goes on. As a final note, we've been so impressed with the features and quality of the Samsung brand, my wife and I just purchased a new Samsung Model RF27T5201SG Refrigerator. Our thanks for allowing us to purchase this amazing Samsung appliance and give our uncensored review. It's looking like my wife is already putting together a list of Samsung dryers, stoves and dishwashers to get this year.

Absolutely amazing washer!!!

I am absolutely in love with my new Samsung washer! it is sleek beautiful to look at and ,So simple to use and very quiet , my clothes does not get tangled at all and no vibration Whatsoever. I absolutely love that it's digital and makes a cute beeping song when finished, all you do is press a few buttons and your all set. the feature that I really enjoy is the fact that you put the detergent inside the washer in a compartment separate from the clothes and you put everything together the bleach the fabric softener in the soap and it does everything on its own . It saves a lot of time and it's fun to use. I Highly recommend and will definitely be purchasing the dryer very soon.

Best washer we have ever owned

First of all I would like to say we received this cloths washer at a discounted price to do a honest review on it, and I must say we are very happy with it even without the discount, If we needed to buy again without it we wood. We love this washer and all the settings make it so much easer to use, just pick your load type and set the dial and the washer adjust the temperature, the water level . it plays a little tune when its done, I can hear it from my train room and I know when to go put the clothes in the dryer. The ActiveWave agitator is fantastic. It also dose a test spin before starting to check for even loading so the spin cycle is Smoove running. it is quieter running then our old washer so I listen for the little tune at the end to know its done. It is just my wife and I so we use it to do three loads a week, the one setting I use the most is the Normal load setting. It sets the water level to extra high and the water temp. to Warm there is also a Heavy Duty cycle a Delicates, A Bedding and Waterproof, a Quick Wash, a Deep wash, a Rinse & Spin And a Self Clean Cycle that is great for cleaning without any cloths in it. The Water temp, and water level and Heavy, Normal and Light loads are also adjustable, if you want to do it your self without using the auto settings.

Amazing Washing Machine

I have been asked to provide a review on this wash machine that I did receive at a discounted price. Its been 20 yrs since I bought a washing machine and has so many upgrades from what I was use to. First, the capacity is huge, it is the same overall size and fits in the space I had but it is deeper and can easily fit large loads and even blankets and bedding that I wasn't able to do in my previous machine. It is simple and easy to use and has a very nice look to it. It also has a safety lock which is a nice added layer of protection when my grandchildren are around that I love. The features are straightforward and there are many options to pick from to meet your needs. The machine is very quiet and my clothes are defiantly cleaner, guess I should of upgraded sooner. It also does a great job in ensuring there isn't excess water in loads which makes drying much faster. At the end of the wash, the washer plays a cute melody. I love this wash machine and would highly recommend it.

I am loving this Samsung washer! If you have a bigger family like me you do a lot of laundry. So far this washer has held up to the chaos. It doesn't look very big when you open it but when you look inside there is so much space! I always worry about washing blankets but this washer can definitely handle the task. After using this washer for a while longer I am still satisfied with its performance. It has handled every load I've washed. I haven't used the auto sensing because I feel like it doesn't give enough water for some loads but overall it's great!

I received this amazing Washer at a very deep discount in exchange for an honest review. First of all, the price I paid can't be beat for a brand new washer! I absolutely love love love this washer! This washer is very easy to use. The soft close lid is an amazing feature as well. The washer is very quiet and does not shake or vibrate during the wash (vibration reduction technology, amazing!) and spin cycles like normal old bulky washers do. This washer gets our clothes super clean and they dry quickly. There are many preset cycles to choose from. I used the deep wash cycle, warm water, high water level. It also spins and balances itself at the beginning of the cycle for correct water level. At the end of the wash, the washer plays a cute melody. 1000% recommend!

Literally A Big Upgrade

It was a much needed upgrade but I had not expected this much more capacity! The wash tub is large and can easily fit extra large loads of laundry. It also looks stylish, the tinted glasstop gives it a nice clean look. The functions and settings are pretty standard and the machine is pretty quite while washing with no loud vibrations. I use the normal and bedding preset wash cycle most often with great results. One drawback is that the machine locks as soon as you start the cycle, so have to pause to add laundry and cannot use the water to rinse anything off inside the tub. Which was something I could do in my old washer. However, all the new features including glass top and larger tub is worth it. Overall a great buy. I have had it for 3 weeks so far, hoping for many more years of clean laundry.

Let me start by saying the last new washer I owned and the one I replaced with this one was purchased brand new in 1996 - yes you read that right. Needless to say it was obviously a good product but getting this brand new one has surpassed my expectations. Like everyone else laundry is a necessary evil in my home and up until this washer it was hot, warm, cold and gentle, normal, or super wash. Well....with all the bells and whistles of this washer I am embarrassed a little to say I actually had to look at the owner manual. I can choose from so many settings I was a little confused. What I really like is that it has an auto level feature that seems to automatically know how much to fill the tub based on the amount of clothes and I love that. It is only my husband and I so filling this washer is next to impossible as the capacity is quite large. Again I am comparing it to an older washer but there is no way the two of us have enough dirty clothes to fill this thing up. I can do in one load what used to take me two. I haven't mentioned yet one of the most exciting features for us is how quiet this washer is when running. We can actually wash clothes without all the noise of prior days. Yes you can hear it running, but only at a low level that doesn't impact anything else you may be doing at the time. I could hear my old one from the other side of the house. LOL I only received the washer due to the fact that I have a gas dryer but we are strongly considering now buying the matching gas dryer to complement what is now a mix matched pair.

Super Clean

My clothes haven't felt this clean in a long time. You can definitely tell the difference compared to my older washer. I really like the feature of the count down for when the loads done. The cutest thing is it plays a neat tune to tell you it's down. This model you can see through the lead and and watch it wash if you'd like. The detergent dispenser is in an inside tray as are the softener, my last one didn't have that ,so I really like that. There's so many options on this baby that it's so worth the buy , you will not be disappointed. The lid won't slam shut like others, it closes softly when you go to close it. Heavily soiled clothes even come out cleaned.I even purchased the matching dryer since I was so happy with this Samsung washer.

Silent and Efficient

This washer turned out better than I had hoped for.  It's equipped with various settings to facilitate our different loads (small, large, delicate, etc.) It makes ways less noise than my last washer. The noise is faint even when in close proximity. Washer allows you to drop in last minute items even after load was started (you will have to give it a few seconds to unlock though). Most of its features are straightforward. Comes with a safety lock which is a great added layer of protection for when kids are around. Washer does a great job in ensuring there isn't excess water in loads which makes drying much faster.

Great washing machine

This washing machine has been a godsend to us. We had a bottom of the line that would leave fabric softener spots on the wet clothes. We would also have to run water down the water softener container. What a difference this Samsung makes. It has multiple settings including, deep wash, bedding/ water proof(not sure what exactly that means. I need to look that one up.) Also quick wash and the best feature... self clean. I can't wait to use that feature. It holds ALOT of clothes. Probably close to 50% more than my other one that was only a year old. We're extremely happy with this purchase and would highly recommend. Oh and the little song it plays at the end is a refreshing twist to the obnoxious buzzer sound!!! The 5 settings on water level is nothing I have experienced before. You can really specify how little or how large your load is. My last dryer didn't have a water setting at all and I felt like I was totally wasting so much water doing just one load. I'm curious to see what my water bill is and if this has changed it. The setting I use the most are normal and deep wash. The deep wash I use for the sheets and have started adding a laundry sanitizer to those loads. I'm extremely happy with this washing machine. It's actually a joy to use!

Durable, high quality, efficient, and super quiet

Overall, I am very impressed with this washing machine. I decided to invest in a high quality washing machine because my previous washer was leaving greasy stains and ruining all my clothing. I decided to buy this washing machine because Samsung is a brand I highly trust. I have Previously purchased many Samsung appliances and have never been disappointed. Installation was quick and easy and it fit perfectly to replace my dated machine. I love this washing machine because it's quiet and very effective in cleaning my clothes. I love the agitator, it's strong and durable, yet gentle on even the most delicate clothes I own: It does a great job in getting heavily soiled clothes clean. This machine is technically superior in the way it spins using high speeds. It's so fun to watch from the clear top lid. The machine in general is so easy to utilize. It's very user friendly as the Digital options are easy to navigate and choose. My elderly parents were able to use it to without issue and were used to using washing machines with only dial options, not digital. Overall, I am highly impressed with this machine. It's superior and high quality. I'm so pleased and excited to use it for years to come.

Great Washer!

This is our first top load washer and we love it. We've always had front load machines and they worked ok but there's a noticeable difference with this top load machine from Samsung. The inside space is huge while still keeping the average size washer frame. I know there's options for other machines that have some more wash options and additional controls but this ones perfect for us. The control panel is easy to understand and there's plenty of options for us to get our clothes perfectly clean. With 8 cycles to choose from we haven't had a chance to use them all just yet. For smaller loads we love the quick wash option, gets them done quickly with a small amount of water and the spin cycle gets a good amount of water out and makes things easier for my dryer. We usually use the normal setting at cold temps or eco warm when needed and haven't had an issue with cleanliness or odor at all. This is such welcome news for us in our house and will hopefully extend the life of our clothing as well. We wanted to give the washer a chance before getting the dryer but we're so impressed with this machine that we're now shopping for the matching dryer. We actually look forward to doing laundry now!

Love "Active Wave Agitator"

This Active Wave Agitator is awesome! When I compare this to my last big brand Washer that literally twisted and wrinkled all our clothes so tightly together with no avail, this one doesn't even compare! Now, clothes are smooth and wrinkle free! Night and day. The Waterproof cycle is very beneficial as well. I used it for my outdoor "plastic" placemats. Love the "Delicate" cycle as well for hand-wash items. Super sweet! One other awesome feature is that if something goes wrong, let's hope not, but if it does and you download the Samsung Laundry App, or SmartCare App if you have other Samsung items in your home, it will tell you you what's wrong. Super cool! I also love the cute little tune it plays when you turn it on and when your load is done. Great Washer. (I received this item at a discount to share my honest opinion)
